Flu Vaccinations

Do you need to protect yourself from the dreaded winter flu?

Flu viruses can change each winter, so an annual flu vaccination can help to protect you. This year’s vaccine also contains treatment to protect you from the H1N1 virus strain that causes swine flu.

Both children and adults can receive the flu vaccination*. If you’re under 16 years of age, an adult with parental responsibility must accompany you to give consent for you to receive treatment.

You may be eligible for a free NHS vaccination* if you are:

  • Pregnant
  • Over 65 years old
  • Suffering from chronic illnesses
  • Living in a long stay residential care home
  • A main carer for the elderly or disabled
  • An healthcare worker

If you are not eligible for a free flu vaccination, most people can still receive a flu jab on our private service.

For more information and to book your appointment, please visit Parade Pharmacy in Sudbury.

*You will be required to answer some questions about your health and other medical conditions before receiving any treatment. NHS vaccinations service only available where allowed by the local NHS.
