Our pharmacy offers the NHS Pharmacy First Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) Service, providing convenient access to assessment and treatment without the need to see a GP.
Through the National Health Service (NHS) Pharmacy First service, our trained pharmacists can assess uncomplicated UTIs and, where appropriate, supply NHS treatment during your visit.
A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common infection that affects the bladder and can cause uncomfortable symptoms. Many mild to moderate UTIs can be safely treated by a pharmacist under NHS guidelines.
If your symptoms suggest a more complex infection, we will refer you to your GP or another appropriate healthcare provider.
Your consultation will take place in our private consultation room and usually lasts around 10–15 minutes.
If needed, we will refer you for further medical assessment.
